Wouldn't the Xen'Vi have numerous religions? Even if it started as one with so many places, events and the very nature of intelligence the religion would certainly form many.

They don't think about religion the same way humans have for thousands of years.
But yeah, there are thousands of sub-faiths and offshoots, some of them quite drastic.

What do you mean "They don't think about religion like humans do"?

Given the overall vastness of differences and recorded origins of the different clans (which really should be thought of as Earth races, and could even have minor anatomical differences to suit them), I find it hard to believe that TV's overarching religion is really going to cover all of Novusvita. It seems like, if they were all the "same" religion, it would be almost unrecognizably different from clan to clan. Much closer to Lichen's idea than to TV's.

You'll find out exactly why the religions are so simmilar later. Just not now (spoilers, you see).

For future reference, when something appears to be secret, please don't publicly ask about it. Your question will be ignored.

I like how this reminds me of Avatar.
Which reminds me:
Anyway, is each clan run as a diarchy? By which I mean, is their a Leader/Chieftain and then a Mage (or whatever)?
I was alos thinking of something like a Clan Meet - where every year the clans meet to trade and sort clan-wide affairs.
Just some suggestion there.

Definately no clan meets. This isn't the twenty first century. This is more like the sixteenth.
Anyway, only the Svia and Qui'a clans are run by a diarchy and only the Qui'a's is simmilar to what you said.
(And welcome to LiA. Glad you finally joined. )

Okay, I just liked the idea of a Clan Meet (I had an excellent location for it...).
Anyway, yes, I've joined.

A clan meet between The Jay and Oijah and Oijah and Valiero is still plausible. Basically as long as Iga aren't included.
By the way, the first nine chapters of the book are now yours to read. Go check out the Writer's Guild.

The Jay and Aari are like really close allies. They don't mind sharing. It's common to find Jay'vi citizens living in Aari cities nearby. You may notice how the two clons' territories seem to sort of fuse near the coasts of the Jay'vi territory.
