Yeah, I noticed that you seem to have dropped off, try cursing at it and smashing the disk to some old game you never play to intimidate it.

I mean you haven't posted ANY of the edits yet. I want the latest version you edited of the beast of burden one that I asked of you on page 1.

Cool! I'd be interested in contributing to Novusvita's relatively-under-developed repetoire of marine life. Maybe a giant filter-feeder or some sort of school-dwelling fish.

Hmm, that's interesting considering how taste is extremely important to survival, unless they can smell how toxic or delicious something is. I'll try to remember to correct that.

My understanding is that taste functions like a restrictive means-of-smelling-stuff-except-on-your-tongue. Realistically, I think the Xen'vi would just use their sense of smell (except maybe in their mouth) as a substitute for taste. I'm pretty sure that it would serve all of the evolutionary purposes.

3 limbs.
Hardened centered pillar or center.
Relatively small.
Varied.
Oceanic and Terrestrial.
Mouth on bottom.
Think of a cross between sea slugs, star fish and insects.

@Xeno: Where can I get me some more of that?


@Lichen: They use their sence of smell, which is pretty much tasting the air, so they can pick up toxins and stuff that way. However, I don't think they'll get any pleasures fro pleasant flavours like we do, which is why they don't nessicarily have delicacies. Perhaps the most enjoyable food items for them would be things they can easily and painlessly ingest (soft stuff, in other words).

As for your group thing, those sound simmilar to Spidrids. Trisymmetoids, right? Go ahead and make one to show me.


@adrac: The reason they have no sence of smell/taste at their mouths is because the excrete with the same orifice. They smell through receptors lining their inhailation slits.

I'm affraid they have to be completely trisymmetrical, please.
