| I finished editing the whole thing today and uploaded all the new chapters onto the forum, fully formatted (assuming that's the correct word in this context). The chapter with the most majour edits, I think, would be chapter 22.
Not sure how much the edits will effect the Wiki article list you compiled, though... | |

UEF Algol II:
[Chapter 1]
- One of
two major space liners that took colonists to and from the Algol
solar system.
- Gigantic cylindrical object, to which three large
space shuttles were attached around the body of the object. These
shuttles held around one
hundred colonists-to-be each and were
each destined for a different human colony on Novusvita.
- The
"ship" itself was unoccupied, its only purpose being to
transport the shuttles from Sol to Algol through Slip-stream Space.
-
Because of the Slip Drive and Slipstream Space travel, there was no
longer a need for cryogenic stasis during deep space travel, as
flight times were exponentially reduced from years to hours.

Hall on shuttle. Huge room on shuttle was located on the port side of
the ship and took up a vast portion of it. Three of the four walls
were flat and three floors high, with walkways built into them at
irregular intervals. The other wall, the one that also made up a
section of the port wall of the shuttle, curved slightly towards the
ceiling, which was fitted with three gigantic circular white lights.
The majority of the wall was actually a huge 50x100 foot screen,
showing world news, notifications and other information that might be
of interest, such as “did-you-know?”s about Darwin and Novusvita.
Every now and then, a three-dimensional, rotating white image of the
United Earth Federation emblem – adapted from the
twenty first
century United Nations logo – would appear on a light blue
background.
- The hall acted as the boarding station, cafeteria
and pretty much the main center of communion aboard the shuttle, and
was comfortably fitted
to suit that purpose.

| Sounds like a plan for the weekend!
Another chapter done. Oh, and i noticed an error you made. Only 4 people go to the bat cave in chapter 4, David, Kenji, Steven and whoever their guide was. Roger, I think. Anyway, only they go there but then Steph magically appears in the cave with them. You might want to search the book for these sort of things. Oh, and maybe summarize the book while you're at it. I'm focusing on describing what everything is, not really what happened there and in what order.
Anyway, Chapter 5 today, Chapter 6 tomorrow, Chapters 7-10 on Friday and the rest on the weekend, hopefully. If real life leaves me alone.
Oh, and any more progress of the publishingification of the book that I should know of?
Oh, and I may or may not make the wiki article notes make sense. I'm tired, there is 14 pages so far and I don't feel like going through them and correcting everything. I probably will in the end though. Hmmm... Whatever. | |
