I don't see why humans don't get weapons? Will we have learned nothing from the Native Americans?

Perhaps in a few ambushes they Xen'Vi may kill off numbers of Xen'Vi but with reinforcements seconds away but still,...

We don't get weapons mainly because we underestimated the Xen'vi as a threat. Basically, we thought they'd see us as gods or at least superior beings and fear us.

Humans do have high voltage bolt rifles aswell as traditional bullet rifles. Some more powerfull weaponry may also have been smuggled in, but they are few.

Where this could go I'm not sure, but it's a list of weapons and styles of these nations

Col'Tun'Vi

Metal and stone spears, swords, clubs, axes and bows
Very small numbers of arquebus (primitive muskets) from trading with other powers
Canoes, Horse-like animals
Soldiers are often disorganized and lightly armed and rely on surprise and numbers

Tita'Vi

Stone spears, axes and clubs
Canoes, Horse-like animals
Soldiers are likely armed and rely on surprise and numbers

Jay'Vi

Metal pikes, swords, halberds and bows.
Large numbers of trained Arquebus, rockets and cannons
Galleys, Horse-like animals
Soldiers mostly lightly armed militias and levies from other nationalities around a core of crack troops which are heavily armed and welll trained. Large numbers of lightly armed though tough nomads easily brought to arms within desert and arid territories

Iga'Vi

Metal pikes, swords, halberds and bows.
Large numbers of trained Arquebus, rockets and cannons
Galleys, Horse-like animals, lightly armored steam-powered vehicles which while fragile to cannon and rocket serves slow moving protection from Arquebus fire though likely to break down
Soldiers are mostly lightly armed levies and militias though to a much greater extent then the Jay'Vi, around a core of crack troops mostly of Iga'Vi decent. Most militias and levies are unreliable and revolt and mutiny not uncommon
** There is reason to believe they have more advanced machinery in the works**

Valiero'Vi

Metal swords, spears, pikes and axes, bows only used in naval warfare
Primitive cannons, Arquebus
Few galleys, Horse-like animals
Soldiers made up of large numbers of noblemen and middle class mounted while peasantry are lightly armed and on foot

Aari'Vi
Metal swords, pikes, axes and bows
Arquebus, cannons and rockets
Galleys
Armies mostly made up of local militias and mercenaries while naval forces supply the needed weight

Qui'A'Vi

Metal and Stone spears, swords, axes and bows
Horse-like animals
Armies made up almost entirely of mounted warriors

Svia'Vi

Stone spears, axes, clubs and bows
Poisonous flora and fauna, trained animals
Horse-like animals
Soldiers mostly lightly armed often fighting using poisons, traps and enraged animals, confined by terrain to defense or small skirmish bands when on the offensive

Oihja'Vi

Stone clubs, spears and slings
Soldiers few and mostly rabble of poorly armed peasants
**There are reports of a secret weapon of unknown origin in the hands of the Oihja'Vi**

Humans

Advanced armor and weapons, rifles, sub-automatice rifles
Single Mini-gun
Solar powered vehicles, jeeps, helicopters, small ships
Very small number of trained men, mass technology

Quite right with all but Oijah, Iga and Qui'a.


Oijah's true military potential shall be revieled later. Let's just say they found something in the caves.

Iga has a bit more up their sleeves. This too shall be revieled later.

Your version of Qui'a are waaay to advanced. I'd say bows, spears, pikes and maybe axes and clubs (the latter two don't really fit them).

More Native American then Mongolian with the Qui'A'Vi?

Bows, spears, axes I think would be appropriate then, my reasoning was that they would have trade with other nations for things like swords and other more complex metal objects.

I'll update the list then with what you said, I'll add a little side note or two on the Iga'Vi and Oijah'Vi.

Are the horse-subs named after waterfaring craft and components for a reason? Because a canoe is that long rowboat and a galley is the kitchen/dining room on a ship

Maybe our characters can take the place of David in this alternate reality and then just completely take off from there.

Mods should also get to control major nations to advance the side plot.
