But they all have New in the names... Except PEI... which is ...?

They're too small to be their own states. Besides, the states themselves are still subdivided into provinces. Most of the time.

So, are the places that are poor countries today still poor in the future?

Given the current direction of life and what TV is saying, not as much so, but still yes compared to everything else.

I haven't downloaded it. Last time I tried to download anything from any download site it took 20 minutes to sift through the piles of Norton pop-ups.

Anyway, back on topic. Thoughts on the map (that is, on future countries, naming, etc.).

Palestine being separate from Israel, perhaps?

As far as I know, on the map, Palestine is part of the AEE state of Syrian Teritory. Isreal's borders hasn't changed from today's.



What of some of the new countries (for example, The Nile Confederacy)?

It seems slightly strange.

Maybe farther north up the Nile.

All countries and states were created by grouping actual provinces. If I'd made it further up the Nile, it would have stopped following the Nile.

It used to be the Egyptian Borderlands, the disputed area between the warring East and West Egypt. It eventually became its own country.

is anartica populated with more research bases? Cause the 3 major world factions claim territory.
