| And you have added meanings. They all make sense. Well, the ones that I know why they are called that make sense, not entirely sure about other ones. | |

| Lol, okay. Tonight I'll post my last posts for the next two weeks. I'll then try to post an evolutionary tree type thing that might make those taxa make more sense. | |

| I already have it on an Excel document. I just need to translate it onto here... Edit: I print screened the document in print view: The bolded taxa represents the taxa to originally have the evolution it is directly connected to. The Roman numerals next to the taxa show at what rank it is in accordance to the taxa connected to it (this may or may not include sub-taxa). Eg. Solvoa = domain (rank I); Verusnuclei = superkingdom (rank II, first rank below Solvoa); Laxusliquidus = kingdom (III); Procarcera = Superphylum (IV); Maculosis = Phylum (V); but Darusliquidus = kingdom, under Verusnuclei (III). Basically, I = Domain, II = Superkingdom, III = Kingdom, IV = Superphylum, V = Phylum, VI and more = Any rank below phylum. Also, [______] has yet to be named (it's the lineage that led to Di- and Trisymmetra, if you wanna know).

| Cool. When you're gone I'll try fixing up the wiki with all this new info. | |

| Thanks! Please also use the list and suggestions in that other wiki-pages-from-the-novel thread. Also, I hope you don't mind researching how to do propper Wiki pages. ^^ | |

| I'll be sure to do that! Now I think I'll use that visitor messages thing to make myself a to-do list. | |

| And, wonderfully enough, I managed to notice something that I'd need to ask you about the second that you leave. Wonderful. | |

| Is there a taxa above domain? | |

| Basically anything above domain would end up being more or less everything organic that is native to Novusvita. | |

| Um... Okay. Basically, we have Solvoa, Recolliga and Carcera as the domains, but then there is Verusforma and Liquidusforma above them, so what rank are those? | |

| Probably superdomains. I personally don't think they're necessary, as they only reduce the count of top-level taxa from three to two. | |

| Yay. Remeber, CHECK THE SUBFORUM FOR THE WIKI BEFORE ADDING ANYTHING TO IT. I think I just broke one of the posting rules... Yeah, Verusforma and Liquidusforma are superdomains. Either that, or the three below are subdomains. | |

| Why aren't the three below just domains and we leave it at that? That's already three huge overarching things that encompass all Novusvitan life. Do we need to narrow it down further? | |

| You need to remember that Earth has five domains (I think. Alas I hate Biology) Protists, Animals, Two Bacteria, and a Plant. | |

| @geekus: Because the Recolliga and Solvoa are distinctly different from the Solvoa in their origin and structure.
@Balu: What you used there is the very outdated five kingdom system (which was Protists, Animals, Plants, Bacteria and Fungi, by the way).
The modern system was three domains: Eukarya (protists, animals, plants, fungi and everything else that has true nuclei in their cells), Bacteria and Archea (a new group of micro-organisms that used to be classified as Bacteria, until it was discovered that they evolved on the same line as Eukarya, as aposed to Bacteria).
Thus, Eukarya and Archea would fall under the same superdomain, while Bacteria would have its own.

| Okay. Seems a bit much, but taxonomy as a whole always seems to go just a couple steps too far in a lot of directions to me, so whatever.
The question, however, is if Eukarya and Archea are classifed under the same superdomain.
